Lakrids by Bülow was founded on the Danish island of Bornholm on July 7, 2007. Through enchanting taste experiences and combinations, Lakrids by Bülow became a favorite brand in Denmark. In fact, the company has spearheaded the establishment of a totally new product category. The vision is to spread the love for liquorice around the globe – “We make the World love Liquorice”. The products are sold through more than 1900 resellers across 25 countries and is represented in high-profile shopping malls e.g., Åhléns, NK, KaDeWe, Illum, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Harrods, De Bijenkorf and Dubai Mall, Illums Bolighus & Magasin du Nord. In addition, Lakrids by Bülow operates 26 own retail shops located in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, and The United Arab Emirates. The turnover of Lakrids by Bülow for 2021 amounted to SEK 410 mio. The Wholesale turnover in Sweden will in 2022 exceed DKK 17 mio & Business to Business 1 mio DKK with the focus of growing both channels. The company has had double-digit growth since its inception.
Profile.
You are passionate, driven, and understand branded high-end consumer products. You have knowledge of both on- and offline distribution, you have management skills, and understand how to act in a small organization with passionate people.
You demonstrate understanding of a company’s value chain, with emphasis on understanding various distribution channels: traditional wholesale, online, travel retail, and branded retail.
We imagine that you have gained experience through a role as Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or equivalent. You can demonstrate that you can profitably develop distribution networks and businesses.
You present yourself as engaging, delegating, and motivating, with the ability to turn strategy into activities that create sales and involve your employees
The Job and what we offer.
- You will have the hands-on responsibility where you will work with existing & acquiring new on-brand customers for the Stockholm & North area. You will be working from your own home office and traveling to customers in your area. You will have one direct report (responsible for the east coast & southern part of Sweden.
- You will be responsible for wholesale & business to business (Gift companies & Direct B2B companies) channels in Sweden and report to the Sales Director located at the company’s head office in Copenhagen.
- You will develop and implement the Lakrids by Bülow sales strategy for the wholesale- and Business to Business channels (Company gifts & direct B2B companies) in Sweden.
Qualifications and personal competencies.
- High drive and flexible attitude – adapts well to changes
- Ability to improve sales processes
- Solid understanding of the contemporary retail and e-commerce environment
- Strong business acumen/communication skills and not afraid to roll up the sleeves when required – leads by example
- Developed negotiations skills
- Fluency in English and preferably a good understanding of Scandinavian languages
